Meet Kelly

It is impossible for mortal eyes and ears to fully comprehend Kelly’s true form on this plane of existence. This is a common problem for wizards of his ilk.

To make communication easier, Kelly now resides in the body of a middle-aged human who is a tattoo artist and illustrator in Chicago, IL. This human form seems to be preoccupied with nonsense and make-believe and has spent the better part of three decades immersed in fantasy art and imagery. Perhaps this eases the immensely powerful being that resides within him.

Kelly Severtson is a tattoo artist and illustrator in Chicago, where it’s cold all the damn time and summer is six weeks long. He grew up in the middle of nowhere and there was never anything to do. So he spent a lot of his time drawing and making up nonsense with his childhood friends. This pattern continued into adulthood, where he spends most of his time drawing and making up nonsense with his adult friends.

Luckily for you, dear reader, he likes to share his drawings. Sometimes they are pretty things and sometimes they are nonsense. You’ve got a 50-50 chance most days and things can go either way depending on what he’s had for lunch.
